All renewals are due September 1st. If you are a member in good standing, your renewal dues are $30.00. You will not be sent a reminder by National HQ. Please submit a renewal application to our Jr. Vice Commandant, Jerry Coyle, and we'll get your application processed. Please be patient, and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
New member dues - If you join between September 1st and February 28, your new member dues will be $35 ($25 to National; $5 to Department; and $5 to Detachment). If you join between March 1st and August 31st, your new member dues will be $25. ($15 to National; $5 to Department; and $5 to Detachment).
Renewals - All renewals will be due September 1st of each year. You will not be sent a reminder. It will be your responsibility to submit a renewal application prior to expiring on September 1st. Renewal dues are $30 ($20 to National; $5 to Department; and $5 to Detachment).
Expired memberships/Re-instatements - If you expired, and you no longer appear on the National Roster, you must be re-instated in order to maintain you longevity in the MCL. What this means is, you must pay re-instatement dues, just to bring you up to the point that we can renew you. Depending on how long you have been expired will determine how much you pay to bring you to current status. Current status is defined as bringing you to the current year, and then renewing you to take you to the next September 1st. If you have been expired, do not submit an application to anyone at the club. Please contact Adjutant/Paymaster Terry Byron directly for instructions and to determine how much you need to pay. If you have failed to renew two consecutive years, you will pay a minimum of $60 (possibly more) to re-instate you.
Applications - You can see someone at the Clubhouse for an application. You can also download APPLICATION and return it to the Clubhouse. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT EVERY LINE IS FILLED IN ON THE APPLICATION, AND THAT THERE IS A SIGNATURE ON THE FRONT OF THE APPLICATION, AND ON THE BACK OF THE APPLICATION ON THE LINE THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOU, REGULAR (MARINE) OR ASSOCIATE.
Life Member Dues - You cannot apply for life membership unless and until you are current in your membership. In other words, if you are expired, you cannot just submit a life membership application. You must first pay the dues that are required in order to bring you to current status (member in good standing). Then you can submit your life member application. Life Member Dues are as follows:
35 years of age or under - $500
36 to 50 years of age - $400
51 to 64 years of age - $300
65 years of age and over - $200
